Hong Kong Island R+R Routes
Whilst Hong Kong is one of the world's metropolis, 40% of its territory is designated as country park, showcasing a variety of landscapes from sandy beaches to woodlands and mountain ranges, offering a variety of scenic vistas.
Hong Kong Island itself is the second largest island of the territory, after Lantau Island and boasts four main country parks; Pok Fu Lam, Aberdeen, Shek O and the largest, Tai Tam.
This all makes for a trail runner's paradise, with so many contrasting routes, all accessible within a 20mins scooter ride. We’ve mapped six full length R+R tracks on the Island as well as a range of shorter, "training" routes.
